Joe,

You and Jack were my FIRST source of info about GPS. We are not
worthy. Many thanks. Garmin refers me to your site when I talk to them!
I am interested in street routing and there are now so many more
programs you don't mention on your site... and Garmin was unaware of
many of these too. I think we depend on you for perhaps too much, which
is understandable I guess, since hands down you have the most robust GPS
site on the web.

But here's the thing. What about DESTINATOR? or TOM-TOM (soon to be
in USA)? or MAPOPOLIS? or IGUIDANCE? You don't even mention these and
they are getting rave reviews elsewhere. We need YOU and your crew to
TEST these for us (so we can be lazy bums and just read what you have to
say instead of doing the work ourselves). How about it? ;-)

You guys are the best. We are all depending on you! (How's that for
putting on pressure after all you've done for us -- people can be sooo
ungrateful.) But seriously, have you come across these programs?
iGuidance is the only one that doesn't require a PDA, but as you know,
even GARMIN is going PDA sometime this year with the iQue, so it's time
for PDA routing reviews!!

I will save the mushy stuff for another time, but I would like to see Joe
exert his influence and get hold of a iQue3600 and post a review.

Do you need any testers to help with the reviews? I would be willing to get
a bunch of free stuff and write about it.

While there are not individual listings on some of the PDA entries you
listed many are there on the site. All of my web pages for GPS
Navigation are really located on Joe's site and I have a Review of
Mapopolis and several others. I have a review of Tom-Tom on the palm
and will soon have one on the PocketPC for the USA which as you note is
just released. I am pedaling as fast as I can but I don't do fluff
reviews and full reviews take time. I also maintain complete lists of
Palm and PocketPC navigation programs and an older list of Psion stuff
although it is likely not up to date.
