Converting Polish format to Ozi by Hailua
I am using a free version of GPS MapEdit. The software is great, even with limited functions as a freeware, it can read Ozi maps. I wonder if I can convert the MapEdit polylines into Ozi tracklogs. While searching the net, I found a promising website but it does not work for me. http://egps.codenet.ru/services/Polish-to-Google.Earth/ If you know any software that could convert the mp format to...

Google Earth update succeed - application doesn't run by MP
I have problems on Google Earth update, and I may need help on making a backup of MyPlaces data. Some days ago I planned to update the Google Map client on my PC. I downloaded the update app from Internet, and run it successfully (i.e. no error messages). But now the application doesn't start. Instead, a dialog appears with the following message: "The procedure entry point

Vaguely [OT] - anyone got any leverage at BT? by GSV Three Minds in a Can
I was going to try to add UK public call boxes (as an overlay) to the Uk contour, trig points, and summits GPS maps up at WWW.SMC.ORG.UK, however it appears that BT, while admitting to having the data (probably even in digital form) won't release it 'except to the emergency services'. No explanation of why, of course. (Their first response was that regulatory reasons prevented it .. I asked...

Thales and NZ Map Grid by kiley.colwell@gmail.com
Hi Guys I can't get NZMG to work in MobileMapper (Thales) to work properly. For one thing, this is all new to me and the job has been left for me to do and I've looked everywhere on the net to find the coordinates etc but nothing seems to be helping. Does anyone have any suggestions or the CSL file I can have a copy of? Cheers Kiley

Need help picking out a new Garmin. by fuzzylollipop
I had a Garmin eMap that I LOVED, especially the trip computer part. I have lost it and was considering getting a new Garmin GPS. The selection is bewildering at best now. :-( I am pretty sure I will go with one of the nuvi models but which one? I want something that has the features that the eMap had. I am no so much worried about mp3 playback and using it at a bluetooth handsfree device...
